Guided Walks 2022 23
Our team are leading a one-off 'Pop-up' Wellbeing Walk on Friday 10th February. Meet for a 10.30am start outside John Storer House, Loughborough, Ward's End, LE11 3HA. The walk will take in green spaces and corridors in and around the town. Gentle gradients & good surfaces. All welcome. Free to attend. Turn up and join in.

Online booking - countryside walks
Weekly Wellbeing Walks:
You're welcome to turn up and join in all of our weekly Wellbeing Walks at Anstey, Bradgate Park, Shepshed, Barrow, Gorse Covert (Mondays with Lough Female Fitness & Wednesdays with the Gorse Covert walk leaders), and Loughborough Town (John Storer House, Loughborough). New walkers are welcome.
Loughborough Female Fitness walks
Loughborough Female Fitness Club run a range of activities aimed at promoting and engaging in healthy active lifestyles within a safe and fun female only environment. Sessions are welcoming and friendly.
They lead two walks each week.
* The Monday Motivation walk is a steady paced walk up to an hour, meeting each week at Gorse Covert, Loughborough to set off at 10am
* The Wednesday Nature walks are walks of up to 2hrs at various locations
The walks will change during Ramadan, from 23rd March to 23rd April. Details of revised dates & times will be provided nearer to these dates.

These walks explore different areas of the Borough and beyond. Often a little longer in length than the Wellbeing Walks. They will follow rights of way across fields and alongside waterways to visit some lovely countryside locations. In 2023 walk leaders Vikki & Glyn will be joining Martin & John in offering some longer walks. A summary of the walks that are confirmed at the time of writing:
Martin will continue to lead walks of around 8/9 miles and will be leading a walk each month in Jan, Feb & March. Confirmed walks:
* Leakes and Cuckoos an 8 mile walk on Thursday 26th January
* Soar Feet a 9 mile walk on Thursday 16th February
* Bunny, woods and vineyard an 8 mile walk on Thursday 9th March
John will lead walks of around 4 to 6 miles and the following walks are all confirmed:
* Cropston Reservoir, a 4 mile walk on Thursday 9th February
* Mountsorrel Heritage Walk, a 5 mile walk on Wednesday 15th March
Vikki will be leading walks of around 5 miles, and her walks below are scheduled:
* Loughborough backroads & brooks, a 5.5mile walk on Thursday 2nd February
* Woodhouse Eaves, Outwoods & Beacon Hill, a 5 mile walk on Thursday 2nd March.

Prostaid Wellbeing Walks
Dates are now planned for the 2023 Prostaid Wellbeing Walks which support men living with prostate cancer and their families & friends. Charnwood Action Group:
The free monthly walks with Charnwood Action Group supporting people with learning disabilities continue with a walk each month. The full timetable of walks into 2023 can be found here
The monthly workplace networking walks at Bradgate Park continue into 2023. Walks take place on the first Weds of the month at 08.30am. Booking required at https://bit.ly/3vnlooG
We have weekly free Nordic walks at Queen's Park in Loughborough suitable for new walkers** There are also weekend Nordic walks at The Outwoods with Loughborough Nordic Walking.
** If you're new to Nordic walking and would like to give it a go you're welcome to join in. In order to get involved:
-> We can offer a short term loan of a pair of poles for a 2 month period for a small refundable deposit.
-> You'll need to undertake a short instruction session we call an induction.
