The timetables for walks from Mar to June 2023 have been published. The information is now split into two timetables, one for regular walks including Wellbeing & Nordic walks, and one for countryside walks.
The page layout has been altered a little. From top to bottom: timetables, online booking link, dedicated page links, summary narrative & photos.
New for Mar to June: Walk and Talk project weekly men's health walks; twelve countryside walks including the next coach trip walk; Ramadan walks with Loughborough Female Fitness.

Weekly Wellbeing Walks:
You're welcome to turn up and join in all of the weekly Wellbeing Walks we support at Anstey, Bradgate Park, Shepshed, Barrow, Gorse Covert (Mondays with Lough Female Fitness & Wednesdays with the Gorse Covert walk leaders), Walk and Talk project (Loughborough), and Loughborough Town (John Storer House, Loughborough). New walkers are welcome.
Walk and talk project
A new weekly evening walk in Loughborough supporting men's health and wellbeing. Every Monday evening 7pm meeting at the Rushes outside Sports Direct for a stroll and chat of around 1.5hrs. Loughborough Female Fitness walks
Loughborough Female Fitness Club run a range of activities aimed at promoting and engaging in healthy active lifestyles within a safe and fun female only environment. Sessions are welcoming and friendly.
They lead three walks each week.
* The Monday Motivation walk is a steady paced walk up to an hour, meeting each week at Gorse Covert, Loughborough to set off at 10am
* The Wednesday Nature walks are walks of up to 2hrs at various locations
* Saturday 1hr Wellbeing Walks. A faster paced walk. Meeting at the corner of Valley Road and Brookside Road, Loughborough at 08.30am
These walks will pause during Ramadan from Weds 22nd March to Fri 21st April and a schedule of three shorter weekly walks on Mon, Tues & Weds will take place during weeks commencing 27th March, 3rd, 10th and 17th April. See the timetable and dedicated page for all the details.

Countryside walks
These walks explore different areas of the Borough and beyond. Often a little longer in length than the Wellbeing Walks. They will follow rights of way across fields and alongside waterways to visit some lovely countryside locations. New leaders Glyn and Jim are up and running and offer walks alongside existing leaders John, Martin and Vikki.
There are 12 walks across April to June. The 18th May sees the next coach trip walk.

Prostaid Wellbeing Walks
The Prostaid Wellbeing Walks which support men living with prostate cancer and their families & friends continue with the next walk taking place on Saturday 1st April. New walkers are welcome. Charnwood Action Group:
The free monthly walks with Charnwood Action Group supporting people with learning disabilities continue with a walk each month. The full timetable of walks into 2023 can be found here
Walkie Talkie
The monthly workplace networking walks at Bradgate Park continue into 2023. Walks take place on the first Weds of the month at 08.30am. Booking required at https://bit.ly/3vnlooG
Nordic Walks:
We have weekly free Nordic walks at Queen's Park in Loughborough suitable for new walkers** There are also weekend Nordic walks at The Outwoods with Loughborough Nordic Walking.
** If you are new to Nordic walking and would like to give it a go you're welcome to join in. In order to get involved:
-> We can offer a short term loan of a pair of poles for a 2 month period for a small refundable deposit.
-> You'll need to undertake a short instruction session we call an induction.
