Beat the Street

Beat the Street is coming to Loughborough! Beat the Street is an innovative physical activity game that has engaged more than a million people. It already took in South Charnwood from October 6th to November 3rd 2021, now it's Loughborough'stime to turn into a real-life game from 2nd March-30th March 2022! Residents will soon start to see special sensors called Beat Boxes appearing on lampposts around the area.
It's free to take part in Beat the Street and it's open to everyone regardless of age, ability or background. It's an inclusive game that encourages you to run, walk or cycle between Beat Boxes to earn points - hovering you fob or card over the Beat Boxes as you go! The further you travel, the more points you score!
Prior to the game, school pupils from participating schools will be provided with fobs. The wider community can pick up a free fob from a distribution point which are listed on the Beat the Street website.
