2022 Monthly Physical Activity Challenge

Every month we will be running a new physical activity challenge to give you a monthly goal and some motivation to get active! Check out the challenges below and how to get involved!

January: Molly's Gift 600 Minute Challenge

For January we are work with Molly's Gift to promote their 600 minute challenge! Complete 600 minutes of physical activity during the month in anyway you want - running, cycling, walking, skateboarding, playing a team sport & more.

Step 1: Visit 'Active Together' website to sign up and join the challenge where you can link your smart watch and track your minutes! https://www.active-together.org/tracker/challenges/mollys_gift_new_year_activity_challenge

Step 2: Make a donation to Molly's Gift JustGiving page for this challenge!

Step 3: Complete 600 minutes of physical activity between 6th Jan & 6th February!

February: 23 DAYS, 23KM

During February complete 23km of physical activity within 23 days - anyway you wish; walking, running, swimming, cycling, scooter, skateboard and more!

Step 1: Visit 'Active Together' website to sign up and join the challenge where you can link your smart watch and track your minutes!

Step 2: Complete 23km of physical activity between 7th Feb - 1st March 2022

March - Beat the Street

Beat the Street is coming to Loughborough - 2nd March-30th March 2022!

Beat the Street encourages you to run, walk or cycle between Beat Boxes to earn points - hovering you fob or card over the Beat Boxes as you go! The further you travel, the more points you score!

Step 1: Pick up a fob from a local collection point

Step 2: Register your fob at https://www.beatthestreet.me/loughborough/

Step 3: Start collecting points!

April - Activity April

Activity April is this months challenge! 🏸

The aim of the challenge is to try a new activity. Take a photograph/selfie of you participating in the new activity and tag us on social media to win prizes! 📸

There are a variety of activities happening throughout the month. Keep a look out for our social media and webpage for all the activities available! 📆

May - TRY20

It's the start of May, which means the start of #NationalWalkingMonth! 🚶‍♀️🚶‍♂️

As part of our monthly physical activity challenge, use this month to #Try20 and walk for 20 minutes a day throughout May!

Whether you walk to work or at home, #Try20 this month!

June - Facebook Lives

Every week throughout June we will be hosting two exercise sessions a week on our Facebook page. Don't worry if you are not able to participate at the exact time of the live stream as all sessions will be available on our Facebook page so you can go back and take part at a time that suits you!

- Wednesdays @ 1pm we have yoga with Tracey!

- Saturdays @ 11am we have a cardio class with Debbie!
